Bonjour, je m’appelle Jean-Baptiste! I’m a French teacher from Nice, on the sunny French Riviera, and I also love exploring the world through my filmmaker and photographer hats.
I’ve always believed that learning a language is one of the most exciting ways to open the world. After studying History and Geography in Lyon, I focused on storytelling and traveled to 30 countries, from the turquoise shores of Greece to the vibrant streets of India. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy helping curious minds unlock the beauty of French, through culture, conversation, or everyday life.

It is always a pleasure to take lessons with Jean-Baptiste! My improvement from my perspective has been nothing short of incredible. Only a month ago I could barely introduce myself. Jean-Baptiste is a natural communicator who uses his skills to create an open-minded environment for his students.
He is very easy to talk to, with a sense of humour and plenty of patience for students anywhere on their journey to fluency. He is also a filmmaker and great storyteller with a great sense of curiosity.
His deep understanding of French history is ideal for the student who is looking to pair their language learning with a historical context of France. Lessons are never boring!

Jean-Baptiste is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and knows exactly how to teach a non-native student. His lessons are well structured and encourage me to work at my level.
