Cat is a wonderful Portuguese teacher, and I am enjoying working with her. She is intelligent, patient, organized, and has wonderful interpersonal skills. Conversations flow easily, and she genuinely has a warm presence that comes through in every session. She pays very close attention to me as a learner and goes above and beyond to provide personalized resources tailored to my learning needs. I highly recommend working with her.

Catarina is a great teacher, very friendly and relaxed, but always able to provide useful corrections and explanations when needed. She finds fun and interesting ways to learn Portuguese and has given me great advice on how to practice outside of the classes too. I highly recommend her if you’re looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese! 😊

Cat is such an amazing and dedicated teacher! Whether you want to focus on speaking or grammar, she is always willing to accommodate you according to your needs and level. When speaking, you will never run out of things to discuss, because Cat is super friendly, intelligent and knowledgeable, but at the same time very serious and organised, especially when it comes to teaching language theory. And as the cherry on top, you always get extra exercises, vocabulary lists and fun recommendations (e.g., videos) to follow up on your lesson and revise it later. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, Cat definitely has something for every learner of Portuguese. I am always looking forward to our classes and inevitably come out of them with a big smile on my face!

She is a phenomenal teacher. I really enjoy our classes and have experienced tangible results after a few classes. She has a bubbly personality and makes me feel comfortable whenever I make mistakes. She has a clear outline on how to get her students to reach their goals but does a great job including me and my wants in our classes making the learning environment even that much more personable. I feel that I can trust her to help me reach my goals, her timeliness, organization skills , level of expertise and laid back demeanor has made me know for sure that she is both a wonderful teacher for me as well as the teacher for many on the journey to learn this awesome language.
