Hi, I’m Mahtab from Iran. I’m 26 years old and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Persian Language and Literature from Shahid Beheshti University and a Master’s degree in General Linguistics from Tarbiat Modares University. My Master’s thesis focused on psycholinguistics, which has deepened my understanding of how languages are processed and learned. As far as I remember teaching has always been my passion. When I completed my course in an English Academy, I applied to be a tutor on italki to help language learners learn their target languages. It has been over three years that I’ve been working as an online Persian and English tutor. In these years, I’ve met a lot of people from every corner of the world and have been teaching both English and Persian to them and learnt a lot from them as well. I’ve given over 3000 lessons on italki. I’ve also been a Persian language teacher in the Farsi teaching centre of Shahid Beheshti University and Tarbiat Modares University as a Persian Language teacher for non native speakers. I am knowledgeable and experienced enough to work as an online teacher. I know how to adapt my teaching methods and materials to my students' needs and help them reach their goals. Mahtab is super nice both as a teacher and as a person. I'm trying to learn Persian, and she has been incredibly understanding and collaborative in figuring out together my learning goals. Totally recommended :)
