Hania Jiménez

Hania is my best Spanish teacher. She always makes me excited to learn. She teaches me kindly and gently. I am always looking forward to taking her next lesson. After each class, she gives me feedback and gives me homework to practice what I learned in her lessons.

Hania es una profesora muy patiente y diligente. Las clases son divertidas. Voy a continuar con mis lecciones juntas. Every lesson feels personalized to my needs and goals. Hania is very prepared and very attentive. I bought a lesson pack and plan to buy another. I would highly suggest taking classes with Hania.

Hania is a gem of a language teacher. I was drawn to her experience in theater when I decided to give her a try. I’m a language teacher myself and am very picky when it comes to finding a teacher that will live up to my standards. In particular, I needed someone able to not only explain various grammatical aspects that have been frustrating to me, but to find a way to engage my brain in a different way in order to grasp it and use it on a daily basis (since I live in Mexico). I appreciate her excellent English, but particularly appreciate her mastery of Spanish at a higher level specifically for teaching non-native Spanish speakers. So often language teachers are “just” native speakers and they don’t truly understand how to teach. Hania personalizes her instruction exactly to what you need. I love how she not only asks me what I need and prepares for that in advance but is also willing to adapt in the moment (that improvisational theater background at work!).

Round two of lesson pack started! I definitely recommend taking classes with Hania.

Hania is very patient and has various exercises and ways to teach Spanish she makes sure you understand what your learning and let's you know you can always ask questions if you need help which is really good for people who are just starting out every class has good fun energy and has yoh looking forward to the next one.
