Russian lessons with care, structure, humour & curiosity — tailored to you Hi there! My name's Galina and I'm here to help you learn Russian. ✏️ Although I studied International Law, I've spent the last ten years teaching languages — and I absolutely love it. 🌿 I'm a curious, creative and experienced teacher who believes in warm, adaptable lessons. 🗣 I speak several languages and love helping others find their voice. 🎨 Outside of teaching, I enjoy painting, nature, architecture, music and history — and I've also worked in a library! ✨ I believe language learning is a way to explore the world — and yourself. 📍 Originally from Russia, I’ve lived in Germany and Turkey, and I'm now based in the UK (it's not cheap here 😅) Teaching languages is one of my greatest joys. Over the past ten years, I've worked with people of all ages and backgrounds — from complete beginners to fluent speakers brushing up their skills. I'm especially passionate about creating a warm, trusting atmosphere where learners feel seen, encouraged and supported. Over the years, I’ve helped students prepare for language exams, job interviews, doctor appointments and academic studies — in a language that may not feel fully “theirs” yet. My focus is always on the student: what exactly they need, and how to best meet those needs in a clear, thoughtful and personalised way. My lessons are student-focused and flexible — whether you need a clear plan or want to change direction on the spot, I’m happy to adapt.
