Even if I am shown as a Tutor here, after four years of experience, my approach is as a teacher. Why choose me? Since I am a programmer, if you are a perfectionist and you are looking for someone precise, methodical, patient and at the same fun, I could be a good choice! :)
If you love philosophy, meditation, introspection, that might be one more reason.
I think the most important part of teaching is human contact. I like to put my students in a comfortable and trusting environment and this will help you talk: the more you speak, the more mistakes I can find and the more new expressions can be taught.

Looking for an Italian teacher? A nice gift might be a successful criterion for choosing one out of 900, as to say the ratio between the number of lessons given by a teacher and the number of his students.
If a teacher has 3000 lessons with 750 students, at first sight we may think: "How many students!" Conversely, a high number of students is not a good sign: 750 students means that each of his student has only four lessons, and then he changes!
So, if you avoid teachers with a low lessons/students ratio, your experience here will be more likely satisfying!
