I had a fantastic lesson with Kazumi today. Her willingness to adapt to my learning goals is a huge asset. When I mentioned I wanted more free speaking practice, she adjusted the lesson format instantly to accommodate me. Not only that, but her commitment to my progress goes beyond just following instructions. She noted that relying only on free speaking wouldn't be the most effective strategy for my growth and thoughtfully suggested we focus on kanji in our next session. This kind of proactive, personalized teaching is exactly what I need to advance my skills. I truly value her insight and dedication to her students.

Kazumi-sensei is very friendly and easy to talk to. Even though it was our first lesson, the vibe was relaxed. I think that’s partly because of how she speaks—clear, not necessarily slow—and also because she’s naturally good at asking questions. The conversation flowed smoothly, exactly what I was hoping to practice. I’ll definitely be coming back, and with my own questions too.

Kazumi is hands down the best teacher on iTalki. First conversation lesson with Kazumi-sensei was a lot of fun. She's super friendly and very good at saying or asking the same thing in slightly different ways, so you have a chance to figure it out without resorting to English. And when you do get stuck, her English is excellent and she's able to explain things. Will definitely book more lessons. :)
