Dobrodošel/Dobrodošla! Welcome! My name is Saša. I'm a university graduate, currently working in healthcare. I’m passionate about languages—they’ve helped me connect with people and explore cultures I never would have otherwise.
Apart from Slovenian and English, I am fluent in German and a little less fluent in Spanish. I'm currently working on adding Italian to the list. I truly believe that the limits of our language are the limits of our world.
Like any other Slovenian I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking and skiing. My hobbies include reading, cooking and gardening.

I'm here to help you practise and improve your Slovenian in a supportive, relaxed way. With 100+ lessons taught, I've developed a feel for adapting to each learner's goals — whether you're working on everyday communication, building confidence, or navigating life in a new country.
I like to bring in cultural context, real-life topics, and idiomatic expressions so the language feels authentic and useful. When needed, I'm happy to explain grammar in a clear and structured way — I have a solid understanding of Slovenian grammar and experience tutoring throughout my education. The best teacher of Slovenian you can find. I was looking for someone to improve my speaking skills and I've found one. Earlier I've tried some AI applications, they weren't bad but they can't hold a candle to Saša. With her I better memorize things we discuss and improve my pronunciation (oh, at least I hope so;). Moreover, now I know what "imeti krompir" and a lot of other Slovenian expressions mean. So, if you've found Saša, "imate krompir"!
