Hello! My name is Andres, I am a native Spanish and English speaker. I am Mexican and Cuban with a neutral Spanish accent. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, United States. Growing up in Miami I have had the privilege of meeting and mingling with people from many Spanish speaking countries and learning from varies cultures. I have been fortunate enough to travel to Mexico, Central, and South America. It comes natural to me to pick up conversations with others about topics we enjoy. I was raised speaking Spanish with my family and learned English in school, everyday I had to use both languages. Both Spanish and English are essential when connecting with and working as a professional in Miami, Florida (and of course when traveling to Latin America). As someone who is easy to talk to and enjoys speaking with and learning from others I can help tutor you in gaining confidence with everyday conversations in Spanish. My lessons are interactive, together we will read, listen to conversations and discuss topics that interest you. Tutoring will be structure with a Warm Up, Presentation of topic of your choice, a Guided Practice, and Feedback. My lessons are intended to help in the following areas;
-Connecting with family, friends, and loved ones
-Learn how to discuss your favorite topics
-Help you navigate when traveling
-Improve your fluency and pronunciation when speaking with customers and building professional relationships.

Had an amazing lesson with Andres. I let him know what topic I wanted to cover ahead of our lesson and he was very accommodating. I really liked how he was happy to adapt the lesson to make things harder and simulate real life scenarios (where someone may not give you direct answers or something isn't clear and you have to confirm what they said). Was super practical! Incredibly friendly and patient teacher. Would highly recommend.

My first lesson with Andres went well! We did some warm up exercises where I got to describe what a typical day looks like for me in Spanish and then he would provide some feedback at the end. We also watched a video and then discussed what it was about.
After our first class he made a personalized lesson plan to not only target some skills I want to improve but also to make it about subjects that I like (cooking).
I would totally recommend Andres to anyone reading this.
