Hello, my name is Somang Kim, and I studied teaching Korean as a second language to foreigners at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. I hold a Level 2 Korean Language Teaching Certificate certified by the Korean government, and I have learned several foreign languages myself, so I understand well what it is like to learn a language. 저는 한국 사람이지만 오래 동안 해외에서 살면서 여러 외국인 학생들을 만났습니다. 그 외국인 학생들을 만나면서 각각의 국가에서 가지는 모국어에 대한 언어 통사적 특징과 제가 가르치는 한국어에 대한 차이를 많이 공부했습니다. 지금도 터키에서 살면서 학생들을 만나고 있고 한국어를 빠르게 익힐 수 있도록 돕고 있습니다.
I am Korean, but I have lived abroad for a long time and have met many foreign students. Through meeting these students, I have studied in depth the linguistic and syntactic characteristics of their native languages and how they differ from the Korean I teach.
