I was born and grew up in northern China. That is the birthplace of Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. I got my Master's degree in Literature from Shanghai University. I have a teaching qualification certificate, an Advanced Chinese Teacher qualification, and a certification as a Chinese language teacher from the Confucius Institute. with 5 years of one-on-one teaching experience. I believe that teaching is not just about sharing knowledge. It is more about helping you find the learning methods that work best for you. I specialize in cultural experiences and story-based teaching methods. I am good at using stories and cultural contexts to design course systems for different students. My students range from HSK1 to HSK6 levels. We study classic textbooks, but we do not limit ourselves to them. I also use dialogues from real-life social situations in China. I also teach students who do not want to use HSK textbooks. For example, international relations, business, Chinese culture and history, Chinese cinema, and more. We learn Chinese language skills and culture through topics that interest the students more. I am a huge movie fan. I love films and literature. We can freely talk about any movie or literary topics that interest you. We can also share ideas about traditional Chinese culture and modern pop culture. I also enjoy traveling, music, food, and running. Let's start from your interests. That will make your Chinese learning more effective.
