Hello! My name is Mei and I am a native French speaker from France currently living in Japan ! I offer French conversation sessions for learners who want to experience real, natural discussions in French. I am passionate about languages and cultural exchange, and I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds. Having learned foreign languages myself, I understand how challenging it can be to speak with confidence. As a French conversation partner, my goal is to help you speak French more naturally and confidently. I focus on real communication rather than formal teaching. I am openminded, attentive, and easy to talk to. During our conversations, I will help you improve by gently correcting mistakes when necessary, reformulating sentences in a more natural way, and helping you find the right expressions used by native speakers. There is no pressure to be perfect. Making mistakes is part of the process, and my role is to support you so you can gradually feel more comfortable and fluent when speaking French.

My sessions focus on natural and authentic conversations with a native French speaker. I truly believe that the best way to learn a language is by speaking regularly with natives. This is exactly how I learned English and Japanese, through real conversations and daily practice. During our sessions, you will practice real life French, improve your fluency, pronunciation, and spontaneity, and gain confidence naturally. We can talk about everyday life, culture, travel, work, hobbies, or any topic you enjoy. I adapt to your level and help you express yourself in a more natural and comfortable way !
