I found this to be a great lesson. I was really looking for a chance just to speak in Spanish, and this was my first Spanish conversation five years. Mayela listened patiently and gently corrected some of my many mistakes. She also suggested materials for me to work with. Mayela is a fabulous teacher. I am looking to regain the proficiency I had several years ago, and she gives me the opportunity to converse. She asks good questions, and gently corrects my errors, writing the correct version in our chat notes. She suggests helpful "homework" assignments, such as videos and websites that she knows will help in the specific areas I need work.
