I have taken online Finnish courses, and have independently studied alongside textbooks. After about three months worth of lessons with Jenni, I have improved my speaking and conversation skills way, way quicker than with those other methods. Having Jenni to practice uninterrupted conversation while getting real time feedback has felt like a cheat code for improving quickly. Our lessons have been so effective that they’d be worth every penny even at a higher price.

Jenni continues to encourage me throughout each lesson. She has helped me build on my existing knowledge so I can create sentences and ask questions. Not only is she helping increase my understanding of Finnish, but she is increasing my confidence to use it as well. Kiitos paljon Jenni!

I highly recommend Jenni. She is a good teacher and gives examples so the language becomes easier to speak and understand. She also takes the time to explain the reasons why and how the proper conjugations and grammar are used.

My main task was to start speaking Finnish. I was so afraid to speak because of the language barrier and besides I had quite a narrow vocabulary. I was very nervous during my first lesson with Jenni, but she was super attentive, smiley, good-looking, smart and patient. Every lesson we touched different themes, so my vocabulary began to widen and my language barrier broke. I would like to mention that we had a very friendly vibe during our online sessions and I liked it a lot. No dominance, no pressure, no depreciation. Only respect, understanding and total support. I appreciate much how she was continuously trying to plant a seed of puhekieli in my head, because it is very important in everyday life. In the beginning I refused to pay attention to it, but then I got used to it. This soft transition was a surprise for me, but it's 100% Jenni's credit. Kiitos kovasti, Jenni!
