I'm a qualified English teacher originally from Britain, I have been living and teaching in central Italy since 2012. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of teaching students of all levels, ages, and abilities in the English language.
My passion for Italy began long before we arrived in 2010 settling in the stunning region of Abruzzo. I am always enthusiastic to learn and explore new subjects, from science to sports to philosophy.
While raising my children keeps me quite occupied, I also make time for my personal interests. In my free moments, you can often find me engrossed in a book, captivated by a documentary, playing chess or tuned in to a podcast or music.Minha atuação como professor
Since 2012 I have been teaching English locally in Italy and this soon developed into a group of over 40 children of all ages. Once this was established I then started teaching adults and high school students preparing for the Pearson test of English working for Power school of English.
I have now been teaching students from level A1/C1 for school, business and pleasure for nearly ten years. I hold the TEFL 120 hour certificate and have had many success stories that make me very proud.
Primarily I teach English to Italians, my level of Italian is around B1/B2 but in the last 18 months I've also been teaching students online from many different parts of the world.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
My methods are based on building your confidence to speak English, developing your listening skills so you can understand English and helping you understand the grammar rules of the English language.
Why in this way? Because generally my students have the best results when they are able to speak in English as soon as possible. Then, once you can converse in English and understand simple conversation you can develop all your language skills very quickly.
However if your needs are more grammar based that's no problem and I can focus the lessons on whatever is most important to you.Meu material de ensino
