Hello, my name is Lena and I live in Seattle. I graduated from University of Washington and am currently working as a medical scribe. I was born in the States, but I grew up speaking Korean with my family. As someone who is passionate about my culture, I want to share my knowledge and language skills with those who want to learn Korean.

Minha atuação como professor

As a teacher, I want to help students become more fluent in using Korean in daily conversations. I would like to focus on teaching pronunciation, vowels, and reading words or popular phrases that are commonly used. I have various teaching and leadership experiences, from tutoring biology students and training new interns at my plant biology research lab while attending university. Given my scientific background, I am good at breaking down difficult concepts into easier step-by-step concepts.

Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino

I believe that learning a language should be fun and engaging. I want my lessons to be comfortable and tailored to the student's interests in Korean culture. I would like to incorporate current Korean culture, content, and entertainment (shows, music, etc.) as examples to teach how they can be used in daily conversations.
