my first lesson with Joanna was really good! she came to the lesson very prepared and sent me a summary of everything we learned so I can review it later. I enjoyed talking to her and found her methods to be very easy to understand and suitable for my needs. I am buying a package now and I have a feeling it won't be the last one :)

Joanna is a great teacher, and I felt very inspired after the class! Even though my language skills still need a lot of improvement, Joanna was very encouraging and supportive throughout the lesson. She clearly explained grammar, tones, and the meanings of words, and she was always very kind and patient. I especially appreciated how she encouraged me to speak more using my current level of Chinese and to try explaining things with the vocabulary I already know, while naturally introducing new words along the way. This made me feel much more confident and comfortable speaking Chinese. Also, despite the limited class time, I was pleasantly surprised that Joanna had prepared topics related to my work and interests. This made the lesson especially relevant, engaging, and enjoyable for me. I feel very motivated and supported to revive and improve my Chinese with Joanna, and I’m really looking forward to continuing my lessons with her!
