I've taken biweekly lessons with Daisy for about 5 months throughout 2026. I had a basic conversational level of Cantonese before, but really wanted to go deeper and get more confident reading and speaking (and focusing on HK specific slang / terms). Daisy is an excellent teacher, not only does she have very detailed and useful materials we review on grammar topics and realistic sentences, she is really good at explaining the nuances of the language, giving interesting tangents and side topics and correcting my pronunciation. My in-laws have noticed that my speaking is better, and I'm noticing I can understand more Cantonese now. I highly highly recommend working with Daisy!!

If you're looking for a teacher who guides you but does not overly correct you, Ms. Daisy is the teacher for you! I've been with Ms. Daisy for more than 6 months, and started from scratch. My improvement can be seen by not just myself, but my friends and colleagues too. I find that I can listen and understand so much more Cantonese now than 6 months ago. Let Ms. Daisy also guide you to fluency with confidence! :D

I've been with Daisy since November 2025 with zero knowledge of Cantonese. Now, I can understand my colleagues better even if they speak Cantonese. I feel more confident in speaking in Cantonese too!

Daisy is a great Cantonese teacher! She is always well-prepared, provides tailored lessons, and clearly explains new vocabulary. I also appreciate that lessons and vocabulary are contemporary and cover practical, everyday scenarios so you are prepared to use Cantonese in the real world. :)

The materials provided by Daisy for Level 3 is fantastic! In the past, Cantonese characters look foreign to me, but now, I'm slowly recognizing many more characters! Looking forward to reading more materials in Cantonese until I no longer need jyutping!

Currently at Level 3 and I find that I'm getting better at remembering the characters more even without the jyutping! It's definitely boosted my confidence and fueled my motivation to continue improving my Cantonese! Thank you Teacher Daisy <3
