If you will be 10 minutes late or more, please let me know ahead of time, sometimes I will have another lesson to attend after. Our options are: 1. add the amount of time you missed onto the next lesson or 2. If I do not have a lesson after continue longer or 3. reschedule

English Pronunciation TeacherI taught English pronunciation and conversation for an English Language School based in Vietnam. We delved deep into how to sound more like an American which unlocked the students ears to understand American English better. We focused on improving accent and conversational skills. Courses were pre-planned but I also had the freedom to add my own insights and tips for the students.
2018 - Atual
Cultural AmbassadorI worked at the English Language Program at UCSD where I helped exchange students improve their English via conversation. Worked under a professional English teacher and I led group discussions with students ranging from beginners to advanced. I have met a wide variety of students who come from many different countries around the world.
2024 - 2024
English TeacherEnglish training session for 3 weeks in Jinan, Shandong. Taught legal English and helped lawyers improve their oral English to communicate better with clients. Developed my own lesson plans and had free rein to lead the class as I wish. Saw vast improvement in spoken English from my students.

Do bacharelado - International Relations/Chinese StudiesAs a double major, I gained a deep understanding of global cultures and communication, which has been invaluable in my role as an online English teacher. My studies in IR taught me how to navigate cross-cultural interactions, while my Chinese Studies, including proficiency in Mandarin, gave me insight into language learning challenges. This background allows me to better tailor lessons to diverse students, understanding their cultural context and helping them improve their English effectively.
