Marina

Marina continues to challenge me to improve my conversational Spanish. The materials she uses in class helps to structure the way forward to eventual fluency.

Es una reflexión después de haber tenido clases durante bastante tiempo. Me encanta tener clase con Marina, que siempre es tranquila y paciente. Me siento relajada al tener clase con ella. Además, su español me suena suave y bonito 😛 ¡Muchas gracias!

Mirana is a treasure!

I have been learning under Marina for the past couple of months and she is, hands down, one of the best Spanish teachers I've come across. The class has great pacing. Rather than just jumping into the main topic of the day, we do a kind of warmer to set the tone. And then we get to the "good stuff". She is balanced and efficient with her correction and feedback. She doesn't spend every second typing away when you make a mistake. The materials she uses have been very helpful for me in terms of learning new information and reinforcing old things that we practiced in the past. One thing that I really like is when we try a new approach. At the end of class, she will check for my feedback to see if the new approach was suitable and useful for me or if I want to try to learn in a different way. So, it's good that she wants to be aware of things from the student's perspective too. I highly recommend studying with her especially if you want a teacher who is kind and welcoming.

This was my first session with Marina and I used it as a way to get to know her as a teacher and for her to know what my level is like. It was very enjoyable, I could tell she was paying attention and looking for what I'm good in and what might need some work. She was very present and I'm glad that I booked the session with her. I'm looking forward to continuing with more sessions soon.

I've had several classes with Marina so far and she is wonderful! I definitely will continue taking lessons with her. She is a great teacher and also very kind and understanding. I would recommend her to anyone :)
