Andre comes into the lesson PREPARED. He has a plan for each lesson, taking into consideration what I have learned in prior lessons. So far, each lesson is structures as open discussion, formal exercises, and then discussion of a topic. There is plenty of flexibility for discussions and clarifications, but he keeps us on track to cover his lesson plan. I am consistently shocked how much we cover each lesson.

I have been learning Portuguese with Andre since last summer, and it's always been great conversation, very helpful. I can read Portuguese with no problem, so I needed help just listening to natural spoken language, and he does that. We just talk about our lives and activities since I moved to Lisbon last August, and he's very helpful. he writes down vocabulary and expressions I need, corrects my mistakes, and if i say something in Spanish or English, he'll tell me how to say it in Portuguese. He's got good energy and enthusiasm, can talk about all kinds of topics, and speaks excellent English when necessary. Highly recommended!

André has been an excellent teacher in professionalising my Portuguese from a medium to an advanced level. His high level of English has assisted with explaining subtilties. His ability to identify errors and train in corrections has helped tremendously. I highly recommend him.
