Another awesome week of lessons with Paula and excited about the next month of sessions. Today, Paula and I developed a plan that will enhance my current Spanish level, with the hopes of adding tools to master the subjunctive. I'm extremely grateful to Paula for tireless efforts and motivation to get to the next level. She always finds unique ways to further push the boundaries in my development and with the teaching profession. It is rare that you find someone like Paula who geniunely believes in her students and consistently wants the best for them. I truly believe that she would do this for free as it is a true passion for her. Paula - Thanks for all the hard work that you have put into this impossible project with me, but everyday I feel a little closer to my goal.

Paula asks thoughtful and engaging questions and she encourages me to test the limits of my Spanish. She attentively notes my deficits and attempts to fill these gaps with further questions and exercises. Looking forward to my next session! For conversation-type sessions, Paula is immensely helpful. (She may also may be for grammar-focused classes, but we just haven't done that!) Her casual, unhurried manner belies how much work she is doing to elicit a conversation, respond with follow-up questions, and provide feedback. Always leaves appropriate space for me to work out my e.g. sentence construction, no rushing.

I've been learning Spanish with her for several months. I normally don't write reviews, but I'm doing this because she is exceptionally great and this is the minimum I can do to thank her. She keeps her classes professional and disciplined, which I find very important as a student. The class is consistent and we follow the class structure that we agreed upon. She's always on time. I've taken her conversation, grammar and writing class. I enjoyed all of them. At conversation classes, she brings up interesting/controversial topics to talk about and we share opinions which makes the class more engaging. At grammar classes, we learn each topic and practice until I make less and less mistakes, so you can master each grammar topic. At writing classes, she gives interesting topic to write about and I get to discover my writing mistakes very visibly, as she corrects my own writing. All in all, I cannot recommend Paula's class enough to all levels of students. (Thank you Paula!)

Paula has helped me a lot with my Spanish. Whether we're discussing a certain topic, or going over grammar to help me sound more fluent, she is an excellent teacher. I appreciate how she tailors the class to my specific needs. I'm always looking forward to our next class.

I sign up for classes with Paula just to have pure conversation, no didactics as such. of course there are corrections, vocabulary, and grammar points. but the most important thing for a terminal introvert like me is that she comes in with a good plan for starting off the conversation, a topic or question, and then is very good at eliciting responses and follow-up. Makes the hour flow very nicely, and pretty high value for "just conversation!"
