Hey everyone and welcome to my profile!
I’m a passionate language teacher fluent in Russian, German and Japanese, and speak three other languages: English, French, Italian, and a little bit od Korean. Growing up in a small village in Siberia, living in Japan, and now in Berlin, I’ve immersed myself in diverse cultures. With a background in linguistics and years of experience, I’ve discovered how learning new languages can truly open your mind and shape who you are.

As a trained linguist with many years of experience, I’ve had the joy of teaching students from all walks of life. From Russian and German at a Japanese university to shaping a Russian coursebook and teaching across Germany, Russia, and Japan, my journey has been all about helping people unlock new languages.
I’m known for my patience and love for making even the trickiest language rules—like grammar—easy to understand. Whether you’re stuck on a word or curious about culture, I’m here to guide you. In my classes, I focus on the communicative method, meaning you'll be engaging in conversation from day one. Don’t worry—grammar and tricky linguistic features will be explained in a way that makes sense, also in a shared language if needed.
I love weaving cultural elements into lessons, so you’ll not only learn the language but also gain insight into the country’s way of life. My teaching style is flexible and student-centered—each lesson is tailored to your personal goals and learning pace.

Egor is an attentive, patient, and super pleasant teacher. He’s really flexible and always adapts the lessons to fit my suggestions and needs. Learning German with him is not only effective but also a lot of fun! 😊 I’m definitely planning to continue our lessons, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great German tutor.

Egor is an amazing teacher! He doesn’t just speak languages and share his knowledge — he knows how to teach. I can tell that he is a true professional who understands how to structure and conduct lessons effectively.
Our lessons are always friendly and relaxed, yet well-structured and aligned with the goals we discussed at the beginning. Egor constantly encourages me to speak as much German as possible during our sessions. Of course, I make a lot of mistakes, but this approach really helps break mental barriers and allows me to actively use the language. He also prepares homework for me so I can practice on my own between lessons. If I struggle with something, we always go through my questions in each session.
I really like that we don’t just follow generic textbook topics — we learn the language in a natural and immersive way, picking up plenty of modern words and phrases.
I can confidently say that Egor is an outstanding teacher and a true professional! I 200% recommend him!
