Unlike less experienced instructors, Michela knows how to create a framework where even a cold beginner like myself is able to speak Italian (on limited, well-defined topics) during the sessions. Less experienced instructors talk at you too much and are not interested in your broken, painful to hear Italian. Not Michela. She's knows what is "good" coming from a beginner, and appreciates your slow, painful effort at piecing the words together. She enables you to actually practice the language. Surprisingly, less experienced instructors aren't so interested in that after the first session or two. Michela is also super energetic, positive, and encouraging, even late in the evening. She transforms learning Italian from painful to engaging.

Michaela is a wonderful Italian teacher who really hones in on your current language level in combination with your goals to identify the correct next steps in your learning journey. She formulates and adjusts next steps frequently as she identifies weaknesses in your current mastery of your language to get you closer to true fluency faster.

Michela e io abbiamo avuto una vivace conversazione sulle cose di tutti i giorni, sul cibo, sulla salute, ricordando anche alcune vecchie superstizioni. Ho imparato tantissime parole nuove ed è stato un piacere, come sempre, conversare con Michela. È un'insegnante davvero meravigliosa. Susanna
