Chie-san is extremely patient and always upbeat. Out of the teachers I have had on the platform, she is definitely one of the better ones. She knows her theory well, all the way up to N1, and can explain all the challenging bits in English. She's able to both challenge you with some grammar questions and play the role of splendid interlocutor in conversation-driven classes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bring their Japanese to the next level, or to its absolute limit!

I absolutely loved our session and recommend to everyone. Though I am just on a beginner level in Japanese, Chie made me feel like I am advanced :) I guess It's a kind of magic when a student feels like there's no borders in learning...

Lessons with Chie are always productive, fun, and engaging. She’s very knowledgeable and knows how to break down difficult concepts using clear, relatable examples. For example, I had been struggling to understand how different tenses work with the -masu form, but she explained it in a way that made everything click right away. Chie also makes lessons personal by incorporating my interests and hobbies into our conversations, which makes learning new vocabulary more enjoyable and memorable. Her feedback is always kind, respectful, and helpful. She not only corrects mistakes but also explains the grammar behind them and gives tips for improvement. As a beginner, I found speaking the hardest part, but her patience and encouragement really boosted my confidence. She gives me lots of chances to speak through articles and casual conversations. Thanks to her support, I went from absolute beginner to having basic conversations with locals during my last trip to Japan. Thanks Chie!
