She is really ready to accommodate requests (e.g. focus on certain things) and adapts the lesson plan to the individual needs and pace. Nicely complements the standard materials with useful phrases from actual daily language. Comes always prepared, provides materials. Always on time, reliable, and is flexible when I need to change logistics on short notice. Great teacher!

Alissa prepared material for the class that I found to be helpful for me. Alissa helps me in many areas like pronunciation, reading, grammar, and listening. She helps me each class to improve my tones which is really important to me since I am still at a beginner level. Her classes are great and I would recommend her!

I haven’t studied again for a while. We had a great start into a new round of italki sessions. Conversation was well adjusted to my level. Good room to warm up again speaking.

I genuinely enjoy studying Chinese because 洋洋 doesn’t just teach lessons — she truly wants to see real results. When necessary, we also go beyond the HSK plan and focus on words and phrases that are actually useful for life in China. She is very professional, and at the same time a genuinely great person who is interesting to learn with. In class, we don’t just work on pronunciation, new vocabulary, and characters, but also explore the cultural and mental aspects of the country
