My name is Daniel. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, but I've lived in Portugal for eight years, always surrounded by people from different countries and cultures.
I’ve had the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the world during my years living in Lisbon. Currently, I live in a small city still in Portugal and am studying International Relations. Even though I’m still in touch with many international friends I met there, I love being in cosmopolitan environments. I visit Lisbon whenever I can, so I plan to move back there soon. I also studied two years of Literature and Languages in Brazil, which gave me a deep appreciation for linguistic variation and how cultural differences and the various ways people express themselves can influence changes in a language. This can be seen both in the English spoken in tourist cities that attract digital nomads, like Lisbon, and in Portuguese in Brazil, which is huge and has one of the most diverse populations and cultures in the world. There are many different accents and ways of speaking across the country.
In my lessons, I bring this experience to help students communicate naturally and confidently, while exploring both grammar and the rich cultural context of the language. Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
In our classes, we'll focus on grammar, everyday Brazilian Portuguese in a relaxed and inclusive way— teaching, learning, and exchanging knowledge and experience.
