Antonio

Antonio is a great Italian instructor. I have learned so much from him, not only about Italian language, but also about the Italian culture. He is also patient and kind, and he is very attentive when I speak to support my learning journey. Lessons with Antonio are also a lot of fun!

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Antonio. He speaks very clearly, and I believe that a student at any level of Italian could understand him. The conversation was really interesting to me, as he assessed what my interests and language-learning goals were, and he adjusted the lesson accordingly. I look forward to another lesson with Antonio!

Antonio and I enjoy very detailed discussions on grammar. We both enjoy pondering the intricacies of language, and he is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining!

Antonio è una persona molto simpatica e un bravissimo insegnante di italiano e di altre lingue. Seguire una lezione con lui è un vero piacere. Antonio usa diversi materiali e i contenuti sono sempre interessanti. L'insegnante è davvero ben preparato, colto e alla mano con un'ottimo conoscenza della lingua, della cultura, della storia. Mi fa domande perché io mi esprima sempre meglio e mi aiuta tanto con le espressioni, dà informazioni sul Paese, sull'origine delle parole e sulla cultura in generale. Mi fa inoltre conoscere italiani famosi, linguisti, filosofi, scrittori, ecc. Scrive anche molto nella chat e manda link o documenti supplementari per stimolarmi a studiare ancora di più. I've done a course of lessons with Antonio now, and they've been very helpful. We've worked on everything from grammar to comprehension and vocabulary. He has helpfully corrected my writing to help me improve and is always patient when I'm trying to find the right words in conversation. He corrects my pronunciation and word use often enough to be helpful, but not so often that it slows down the conversation: a good balance. Antonio has a clear passion for languages and often takes time to explain the Greek or Latin roots of words and ideas, which (if you're a language nerd) can be really interesting. We have discussed a range of themes and topics, which keeps things interesting and has helped me to broaden my vocabulary.
