As an American who didn't learn a second language in school, I've been trying to become bilingual as an adult for a while. But with a busy career, it's difficult to squeeze in regular language learning. I'm so thrilled to have taken one-on-one lessons with Antonella for two years -- and counting! I learned more with Antonella in one or two lessons than I learned in months of group classes. Despite being intimidated to speak Italian for an hour with a tutor, Antonella immediately made me feel at ease and patiently guided me as I struggled with speaking, listening comprehension, and grammar. As a teacher, Antonella is infinitely patient, kind, and has a great sense of humor. She is a creative thinker and always finds interesting ways to illustrate a grammar point or colloquialism. She's an absolute gem. Don't hesitate to take lessons with her; you will learn a ton and have fun while doing it!
