Ignacio has the most important skill that is essential when teaching a language: he is passionate about languages himself! For example, he has learned German in a short time - one of the most difficult languages of all - and masters it perfectly. He knows from his own experience what really matters when learning a language: communication practice. As a Spanish teacher, he is attentive, patient, supportive and very motivating. He gives numerous recommendations on which words or sentence constructions to choose in certain situations - and always has an alternative ready. In addition to these teaching skills, Ignacio has an outstanding personality. His various interests and cultural knowledge make every conversation an absolute enrichment. I recommend Ignacio not only as a language teacher but also as a smart conversational partner. Besides, you learn a lot about Argentina and its people, a wonderful country that you should visit at least once in your life!

Ignacio is a great teacher. I've taken classes with him for over a year and I always look forward to our lessons. (For context, I really didn't enjoy languages in school, so creating classes which I can enjoy is an achievement.) With his help I've achieved a far higher level of Spanish than I imagined was possible.

A little over 2 years ago, I started learning Spanish because I wanted a way to better connect with my Argentinian friends. That’s when I found Ignacio here on italki. Although I was extremely nervous and shy at first, Ignacio has a way of making people feel comfortable and building up their confidence. He is very encouraging, patient, and invested in helping his students through their language journeys. Over the past couple years, I have made huge strides in my Spanish, that I would never have been able to make without Ignacio’s help. Currently, I am able to converse about the topics that interest and inspire me the most, including music, teaching, traveling, learning languages, and most recently, Jiu Jitsu. Today, Ignacio and I completed our 100th lesson together, which is no accident, because Ignacio is without a doubt one of the best Spanish teachers and conversation partners one would be able to find.
