Niko Chitashvili

I met Niko when I was an exchange student in South Korea. I was doing my English-based Management program. When I arrived there, I couldn't speak a single word in English, and yet after a month of classes with Niko, I began to comprehend most of the content in class and quickly gained the ability to socialize with fellow students and even making friends. Now, after nearly 2 years of having my pretty intensive, regular English training, I've improved from A1 beginner to B2 upper-intermediate and passed the IELTS at the overall band score 7 which allowed my to be eligible and accepted for a Master's program taught in English. I can enjoy talking with teachers and students with so much ease and fun. That could be barely possible without Niko's guidance. He also always adapts to my needs: practicing conversational English, business English, preparing for IELTS, etc. With all that being said, this feedback is my token of great appreciation to Niko. Thanks a mil!

Niko is a pleasure to work with and learn from. I have been working with Niko for just about two years and I am happy to say that my Georgian has gone from zero to me being able to comfortably navigate daily life when my work takes me to Georgia. I can highly recommend Niko as a teacher.

Niko has been a big part of my Russian learning. I am thankful for his assiduousness in helping me build a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary and speaking, on the basis of which I can proceed with confidence toward fluency.

The teacher is excellent. He speaks clear English with out a Russian accent. According to my wife, who is a native Russian speaker, he also speaks perfect Russian. Niko has a great personality. Based on his personality, I would choose him over any other instructor I have tried. Language is very hard for me. I am definitely at the bottom of language learners. I am learning Russian because my wife speaks Russian (and I love my wife). Somehow, I did not understand the teacher even though he was working hard to speak at my level. I don't think that was his fault. Niko will be an excellent teacher for anyone is serious about learning Russian.

Learning Russian with Niko is fun. He adapts to my specific needs and has a way of explaining things in a funny and memorable way that a language-learning app just can't compete with. Our conversations don't feel that much different from talking to a good friend of mine. While the lessons have been really easy-going and fun, Niko also has great attention to detail and does not let you off easy when it makes sense. As someone from a Nordic country, my intonation can be a bit too monotonic at times, but Niko took the time to make sure my "question intonation" was correct - other teachers in the past have let me off the hook while they shouldn't have. To top it all off, I think Niko has a great voice that I think I've started subconsciously mirroring in my life outside of speaking Russian. Who knew that I would learn Russian and get a slightly deeper voice while doing it! All in all, I would highly recommend Niko to anyone and I will definitely get lessons from him in the future.
