My foreign language studies always helped me to advance my two main hobbies. Travelling abroad and reading anything interesting in any language. During my exchange years I China I had the opportunity to spent a lot of time in Korea, Japan and Taiwan, but I also went to Southeast Asia for some months.
My favorite things to read are bibliographies but also crime and detective novels (that includes comics as well). However, as long as the read is interesting, I will indulge in any topic, be it politics, art, cinema, fashion or photography. I also like to learn of all the interesting hobbies other pursue in order to broaden my perspective.Minha atuação como professor
I have taught German and English in several different circumstances. During my early internships in China I organized basic German and business level English trainings. In the German Chamber of Commerce, I was also involved in editing a yearly bi-language training brochure for special trainings in Shanghai. But I also taught English and German for a year in kindergarten, where I focused on fun in acquiring a new language. In Germany I mainly taught German privately, mainly focusing on the Testdaf-exam but also the German high school-diploma Abitur. Occasionally, I also prepared students for the TOEFL-Exam. The most important part for me is to have students that enjoy studying and are willing to spend time on pursuing their goals. It doesn’t matter if one takes more time to grasp a topic than another, as long as I can feel the enthusiasm of a student, everything goes in my class. Just be attentive and participate actively. I will always adjust topics to your interest, so we can learn something together. But if you just want to prepare for an exam, I also have plenty of files and quizzes to get you ready.Meu material de ensino

Nico explains concepts of the language well and makes sure to include them in regular conversation. He has a great gauge for the level at which the learner knows the language and tailors the learning material and conversation to be the right level of challenge for learners. I really appreaciate we get to talk about real-life scenarios, because it makes learning the language more relatable than other learning platforms.
