I was born in the United States and grew up bilingual in Poland and the United Kingdom. I am currently based in Spain, where I have been living and working for eight years. Aside from languages, I am into drawing and illustration, as well as dancing and travelling.Minha atuação como professor
I think my best quality as a teacher is empathy, as I understand the student's point of view very well and it is easy for me to put myself in their shoes. It is important to me that everyone has a good time while learning and I always try to bring a positive attitude into the classroom, be it face-to-face or virtual.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
I put a lot of emphasis on speaking and pronunciation in particular, however, I want you feel that you are encouraged to make mistakes while learning; there is no need to be perfect :) I try to find topics which you are enthusiastic about in order to make you feel more confident when speaking or writing. I like to use songs and videos in my lessons too. One of my strengths is preparing students for official language exams, which I recommend doing.Certificados
CELTA - International House - 2014I completed the CELTA course and got the certficate in Palma de Mallorca, as a result of which I later ended up living and working in Spain

My classes with Iza are always great, we do a bit of everything: reading comprehension, listenings, speakings, grammar exercises, new vocabulary, writings, etc. and everything is always related to the Cambridge standards in order to prepare to get my certificate.

Iza is a wonderful teacher. It was lovely talking to her because she's very kind, friendly and patient. She takes care of your pronunciation (she gives you some tips to make it better) and teaches you a lot of new vocabulary. We have worked with grammar, and she makes it fun! I really enjoyed it. I'll book more lessons with her.

Iza is exactly how she appears in her video. Is nice, kind and makes you comfortable during her lessons. She's also strong skills in CAE preparation and gave me powerful pieces of advice to achieve the best outcome. Her British accent is a plus. I would strongly recommend booking a trial lesson with her: you won't regret it.

Trial lesson with Iza was great, she was concerned to understand my goals and objectives and how I wanted to learn. She showed good knowledge, teaching experience and was fast in using support tools. I’ll schedule other classes with her.

Excellent class today! Iza is an incredible teacher. The lesson took one hour but it felt like 15 minutes, we were talking during all the time, different to subjects and in formal and informal ways depending on. I really apretiate the lesson of today. thanks Iza
