Hello and welcome! I'm Camilo, a passionate lawyer and educator with over 3 years of experience on Italki. I love teaching authentic Spanish and have had the privilege of guiding numerous students towards fluency in the language. My background in design and law has given me a multifaceted perspective that I incorporate into my lessons. My method is based on immersion and active practice. In my classes, you will use a variety of materials ranging from contemporary texts to audiovisual media. I firmly believe in learning by doing, so in my sessions, students speak in Spanish 90% of the time, allowing you to apply what you learn immediately

Camilo is THE one! I always enjoy my lessons spent with him 😌 He’s well prepared, and he’s sooo down to earth. He always has a good balance of casual convos and grammatical lessons. Solely talks in Spanish, but he will always make sure you understand. He also keeps a google doc with sentences and links to resources from the lesson which is incredibly helpful.
