As a teacher, I’m very patient and always prioritize my students’ comfort. I want learning to feel calm, enjoyable, and meaningful, not stressful. My lessons focus on reading 📚, writing 📝, and self-paced learning👩🏻💻, so students can take their time to think, reflect, and truly understand the language.
I have over two years of experience teaching English and have also spent many years studying different languages myself here on italki. I understand how challenging and rewarding learning a language can be. My goal is to help each student grow with confidence and enjoy every step of their learning journey! After each lesson or assignment, I provide a detailed set of notes and feedback for students to practice on their own, such as:

Emma is kind and always listens to my poor English until the end and tries to understand me.
Even though I was nervous and shy at first, I’m sure that if I keep taking classes with her, one day I’ll be able to speak freely just like her.
I’ve always wanted to take lessons with a tutor who has an authentic American accent, and I think this is such a great opportunity!

I have already finished over a dozen lessons with Emma, and I can truly say she is an amazing teacher. The classes are always hilarious. Emma is easy-going, fun, and endearing. I’d highly recommend classes with Emma to anyone who wants to learn and enjoy English lessons.
