My name is Roberta, I am Italian and I studied Modern Literature and Modern Philology at the University of Catania. I obtained the first level DITALS certification, to teach Italian to adult foreigners, with the University for Foreigners of Siena. I collaborated with an Italian language school in Catania and with the Dante Alighieri Society, teaching teenagers and adults. I am a dynamic, sociable person and I love teaching the Italian language and culture.Minha atuação como professor
I am a certified teacher, having obtained the DITALS I. I am very attentive to the needs of the student and I try to put him at ease, not creating or trying to break down the affective filter, which could arise during online lessons. I am an understanding and patient teacher, capable of helping the student to achieve results in a calm, friendly, fun way, without creating stress and avoiding boring lessons or lessons that could lead the student to no longer have motivation. My lessons are based on the communicative and humanistic-affective approach: the student comes into direct contact with the Italian language and is led to develop, following the basics of the situational method, communicative competence, paying attention not only to grammar, an important but not primary element, but also in terms of vocabulary, phonetics, pragmatic skills and the comparison between Italian culture and the student's native culture. The lessons follow a path that leads the student, through the use of the inductive method, to discover the language and its rules, as well as its applications in daily life, in such a way as to enhance their communication skills.Meu material de ensino

Not only is Roberta extremely patient and encouraging, she is also dynamic! Today I asked her to review andaresene and she was able to create a lesson on the fly based on my questions. ROBERTA IS THE BEST! Such a kind-hearted and helpful teacher who goes above and beyond to make every lesson enjoyable and entertaining. She offers a lot more than a plain language lesson. The 60 minutes I spend with her are clearly some of the best 60 minutes during the week. Grazie!

I started learning Italian for the first time in my life with Roberta 2 months ago. Roberta is great! She motivates me to continue learning and is always extremely patient and personable. Her classes are always structured and I am always learning something new. She also customizes the classes based on what I would like to review. I highly recommend Roberta - my package has expired but I will definitely be continuing my lessons with her. She is the best! :)
