Raffaele

I have been very impressed with Raffaele; he has enabled me to learn far more Italian than I thought possible over the past year. I've only spent about 15 minutes a day working on it in-between 45 minute sessions with him every week or two. Literally, whenever I have a few minutes I can use his materials and approach to make progress. I had previously thought it wasn't worth trying to learn a language with such a small time commitment, but he shows that it's definitely worth it! He introduced me to Anki and has provided very helpful materials to support my learning. His teaching approach is also very focused, attentive, and creative. Grazie Raffaele!!

My kids are really enjoying every lesson they had with Maestro Raffaele and they don't want to miss one. He makes lessons fun and interesting. Kids fall in love with reading because they can be part of the story, never complaining about extra effort. He explains things patiently until kids understand the information. We really appreciate the help that Maestro Raffaele is giving to us.

Raffaele is an excellent teacher. My conversation skills have improved considerably during the time I have been working with him. I find his approach very effective. We typically start off a lesson with a casual conversation. For instance, he may ask what I did over the weekend. That gives me the opportunity to work on both my listening and speaking skills. While we talk, Raffaele will make notes of any mistakes I have made, and when we finish our conversation. We will then review the notes together, and Raffaele will encourage me to figure out the necessary corrections. Raffaele will also give me "homework" assignments to help me improve on grammar topics I find confusing. For example, when I was struggling to determine when to use the imperfetto past tense instead of the passato prossimo, Raffaele had me prepare a detailed recap of my most recent trip to Italy. This was a fun project, and really helped me nail down how to use these past tenses in conversation.

Raffaele ist eine sehr gute Lehrkraft und legt den Schwerpunkt immer wieder auf meine Schwachpunkte, damit ich diese verbessern kann. Mache nun einen Unterbruch von einem halben Jahr und werde mich im Oktober wieder melden. Daher keine Hausaufgaben.
