Wonderful lesson! Julien is really exceptional at making lessons easy and fun. He offers great advice and has a knack at helping students' pronunciation. I appreciate his attention to detail and I feel that today's lesson was really productive --I was able to come to class with a few questions and Julien was able to explain clearly and with lots of examples. We did a role play from the get go and it was challenging, but slowly, I am able to string enough words together to make it through the activity.

This was my second French class on italki, and I feel so lucky to have found such a great teacher on just my second try!^^Julien is passionate, highly experienced (and impressively fast at typing!) I love his teaching style; it suits me perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait for my next lesson with him! Merci beaucoup et à très bientôt!

Writing outside lessons really helps make lessons with Julien more productive. He is always very interested and asks lots of questions so it’s nice to bring interesting topics to the table.

Julien is fabulous! You won’t regret if you select him as your French teacher! He is seasoned and detail-oriented! You will be surprised by your improvement and confidence in using French!

Super chill lesson talking about goals for the new year, work, and general life.

The lesson was fun! I needed to refresh on how to ask questions in French and Julien was able to change the lesson plan to fit my needs. He is able to give me space to try to make a phrases. Because of my tendency to speak fast, he always encourages me to construct correct phrases slowly instead of broken/grammatically wrong phrases without thinking. He is really patient so I always feel no pressure to rush.
