Hi, my name is Patrick Pittman and I was born in Southern California. My instructional skills proved as a major success early on in my life as I led my own All-Star Cheerleading Squad to back-to-back national championships before venturing into the entertainment industry as a Casting Director in Hollywood, responsible for bringing out the best in actors.
My real strength has always been in sharing my knowledge with everyone I meet. This quality took me to Korea, where I taught English for 10 years & learned how to connect with people of different English levels from all around the world. I live in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, teaching English to people of all ages & walks of life.Minha atuação como professor
During my 20+ years teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) in the USA, South Korea and Mexico I have taught students of all levels, ages (3 to 93), nationalities, and backgrounds. I really loved this experience and continue to enjoy helping students like you achieve their goals.
I am very kind, patient, funny and genuinely interested in your personality, life & goals. The most important thing to me is that you feel absolutely comfortable in my class, which I promise to achieve every time.

I've been learning English with Patrick for a few months, both in San Francisco and on italki online. My English has gotten a lot better, and I'm going to keep taking classes with him.Patrick knows how to make a learning plan just for you. He listens to what you need and makes sure the lessons fit you perfectly. This makes learning faster and more fun.He's also really honest. If there's something you need to work on, he'll tell you straight up. It might be tough to hear sometimes, but it's super helpful for getting better.Patrick is great at getting you to talk more. Even if you're shy or worried about making mistakes, he helps you feel comfortable. He's all about helping you find what you're good at and what you need to improve.He's also good with lots of different students. No matter where you're from or how you like to learn, Patrick can help.
I really enjoy the classes and how they're just right for me. I'm definitely sticking with him for more lessons.

I love Patrick's Lessons, he teachs in a passionate and easy-going way that makes the lessons very interesting and fun. I've learned with him about identifying common errors in pronunciation, how to reduce them, and also how to use some American expressions in a sentence. I definitely will take more classes with him. I recommend him to the entire italki community!
