Carmen

Great lesson with Carmen! Carmen explained about the 618 shopping day in China and told me about her plans. We talked about the way some places mark up before giving a discount. We also reviewed the sentences. Carmen noticed there were a few places where I "froze", but gave me good feedback and support!

Great lesson with Carmen! We talked about several different things, like Tomb-Sweeping Day, learning to swim and using a fan to keep cool. Carmen gave me positive feedback on my pronunciation, which was really encouraging. Learning with Carmen has also helped my listening a lot. Carmen's lessons are fun and she does a good job of keeping things low-pressure!

I made a few mistakes, but Carmen helped me correct them quickly. I like how Carmen uses real-life stories and experience to make the class more interesting!

We read through the sentences that we made to wrap up the lesson. There were a few words that I got stuck on, but Carmen helped me. Carmen does a nice job of reviewing the lesson, it really helps!
