My name is Aileen. I am a teacher by profession with over 15 years of experience teaching English, Filipino, and Japanese. I have completed my Bachelor's Degree in English with high academic distinction at the University of Baguio. I am also a licensed professional teacher, civil service eligible, TEFL certified, and an active advocate of education and health in my home country. My post graduate degree in English is still on-going but I am expected to finish in 2026. When I’m not in pursuit of career and academic improvement, I explore languages through travel, food, and films—passions I weave into lessons to make learning vibrant. As a dedicated and licensed educator, I bring a multifaceted background in teaching English, Filipino, and Japanese, both in traditional classrooms and through online platforms. My professional qualifications have equipped me with a solid foundation in both content mastery and effective pedagogy. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all method for learning a second language effectively. I’ve had several lessons with Aileen, and each one has been excellent. The classes are always well-structured, engaging, and adapted to my specific goals. She creates a very comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to speak naturally and gain confidence.
What I appreciate most is how attentive and encouraging she is — she notices the small details in pronunciation, vocabulary, and phrasing that really help me sound more fluent and natural. The materials are always relevant and interesting, and the feedback after each class is clear and practical.
