Hello everyone! My name is Chris and I’m from the United States, where I grew up learning and speaking English. Currently, I’m studying Spanish and have fallen in love with learning a new language, and through that language, a new culture. I absolutely love meeting new people and strongly believe that a stranger is simply a friend you have yet to meet. In my free time, I love reading, exercising, flying airplanes, and programming. I have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and I'm currently working on my Masters degree in IT Software Development.Minha atuação como professor
Previously, I was a member of the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant before exiting the service. For this reason, I have extensive leadership and teaching experience, guiding young airmen (members of the US Air Force) through various tasks and teaching new concepts. Additionally, I have an Associate degree (2-year degree), a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and am working on my Masters degree in IT: Software Developent. These degrees have not only elevated my English language, but further strengthened my teamwork abilities, which will surely transfer into my classes. As a Spanish student, I have found great success in learning through conversation. While I have taken 3 formal Spanish courses at the collegiate level, I have found the most success through simple conversation. We will talk about various topics which you can choose or I can provide, or even simply chat about your day. I completely understand the nerves that accompany learning a new language, so my ultimate goal is to create the most relaxed environment possible while still improving your English abilities. We can improve all three forms—speaking, listening, and reading/writing, through conversation and even exercises if you wish.Meu material de ensino
