I received my CELTA around January 2018 and started working as a TEFL teacher in Moscow later that year. I have also taught IELTS and GRE prep classes in addition to regular TEFL teaching, and was very proud of the progress which I saw in all of my students. I try to focus on getting as much active speech production out of my students as I can, as the latest research on second language acquisition shows that productive skills are much more important than receptive skills when learning a second language. However, I am flexible and can cater our lessons to your desires, learning style, and goals.
Notice about cancellations: As a courtesy, I let you cancel once within a 24 hour period without losing your money. After that, no more. If you don't show up on time, I wait for 15 minutes to see if you do show up, and then go do something else.Meu material de ensino

I have just completed my first full lesson "General English" with Gerad. It was really efficient. We practiced speaking and reading, I improved my vocabulary. Gerad is a pleasant person and skilled teacher, who can make the lesson interesting for a particular student. In addition, for Russian students it is helpful and convinient, that Gerad speaks Russian and has the Russian experience.

The lesson proceeded in a cold and formal atmosphere. In the end, I received an honest assessment of my English proficiency, but the feedback could have been more positive and encouraging. I am aware that I speak poorly; that's why I want to learn. After the lesson, I felt upset and demotivated. Smoking during the lesson is not cool.
