For a first trial lesson, Alejandra took her time and did not rush me, but waited until I was ready till we moved on. This is very good for me, as patience in learning is a key factor for me. We did basics going over the alphabet and understanding letters and pronunciation. She also has a good level of English, which I recommend is good to help explain things to English learners of Spanish like me.

Alejandra worked her evaluation of my language skills seamlessly into our getting acquainted session. She was kind and thoughtful; taking into account my life circumstances, while gently correcting my errors in speech. She made excellent comments, was encouraging and supportive, and her suggestions as to how we should proceed made me feel confident that she is a skilled instructor who can meet me where I am to help me move my language skills forward.
