I live in Burgos, northern Spain and am proud of being able to teach my native language.
I also enjoy doing English-Spanish translations, which I think is a sort of art.
Some of my interests are: music, culture, social issues, ecology and environent, food, travel, photography... and many more.Minha atuação como professor
I used to teach Spanish to immigrants at the Spanish Red Cross facilities in my city for several years, as well as Primary school students as a curricular subject.
In addition, I can take advantage of my extensive experience teaching a foreign languge for my Spanish classes on Italki. Since I'm fluent in English, I can occasionally use this language to clarify or translate difficult concepts if necessary, especially for lower levels.
Although I'm a qualified Primary school teacher, I prefer to teach adults.
My Spanish accent is neutral, from the central region of Casille and my speaking isn't fast. Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
In the first class I usually assess my students' level, inquire about their learning aims and preferences in order to design a plan and style of teaching for that particular person.
In my classes errors are chances to teach, whether it's vocabulary, grammar, use of language or pronunciation. I try to help to put words into my student's speaking if necessary and try to encourage them.
My students can be sure they'll be always have a say and I'm always open to suggestions and changes.Meu material de ensino

Jesús has a nice calming demeanor which put me at ease immediately and kept me on an even keel. The conversation was easy to follow and his corrections were gentle and patient. When I finally had committed a particular error one too many times we stopped and talked about it a bit and discussed the theory. We also discussed my goals and why I was coming back to Spanish.
Looking forward to the next lesson.
