I specialize in ACCENT REDUCTION and American English pronunciation.
My name is Mason and I'm a professional English pronunciation teacher and accent coach from California. I live in Madrid, Spain and I specialize in American English pronunciation and accent reduction. I am a CELTA-certified teacher through Cambridge University, with over ten years of professional English teaching experience. I have taught everything from grammar and exam preparation to conversation fluency and writing, but my specialty is pronunciation. PRONUNCIATION:
My lessons are very focused and fun. Each lesson is based on an audio file and a PDF that I'll send to you prior to the lesson.
We study mouth and tongue positioning, word stress, intonation, connected speech, reductions, consonant clusters, linking, stop consonants, the Schwa sound, and more. My lessons are very structured and focused so be prepared to work hard.

I teach second, fifth, and sixth grade, working closely with teachers creating lesson plans for teaching grammar, reading, pronunciation, and exam preparation. I also create PowerPoint presentations for the kids, introducing them to various topics of cultural relevance and differences between the U.S. and Spain.
