I have been a student of Ixchel for about a year and she never disappoints. I have some learning disabilities like dislexia and she is able to meet me where I am that day. Very happy to be her student!

Ixchel is a great teacher. My main problem with Spanish is my confidence. Ixchel works to make me feel comfortable. She's kind and encouraging when she corrects my mistakes and that helps me build my confidence when speaking in Spanish. She has different methodologies that she uses when teaching. For me, we practice speaking and listening for the first part of the lesson and then we proceed into actual academic lessons (reading, comprehension, vocabulary, etc.). Again, Ixchel is a very good Spanish teacher and with her help my Spanish is getting better. I know she can do the same for anyone that opts to have her as in instructor.
