My Teaching Style and Methods
I use a Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, focus on real communication and integrate the four skills—Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking—to achieve real-life goals. I also have experience in Total Physical Response (TPR), I make lessons dynamic and engaging in a relaxed, supportive environment.
IMPORTANT:
1. I DO NOT WORK ON WEEKENDS BECAUSE I GO TO UNIVERSITY. (Except when I'm on vacations.)
2. Please cancel or notify the teacher at least 3 hours before class to avoid being fully charged. ⛔⚠️
3. If possible, use a computer rather than a phone.
4. Try to avoid taking the class while driving or walking.

I've taken several classes with Esme, and I've enjoyed them all. She is able to explain grammar rules in a way that makes them easy to understand. I also enjoy learning about the origins of certain words or dialectical features. Esme has a very friendly and laidback personality, and I feel very comfortable speaking with her. I just completed a 10-lesson pack with Esmeralda, and it's been an absolute pleasure learning with her (which is why I plan to continue!)
She is fun, dynamic and engaging, uses really good teaching materials (from presentations and work sheets to YouTube videos etc) and connects a lot of what we are learning with contemporary Mexico - things like food, young culture, current events, social nuances and trends, etc.
She is also quite flexible in what and how she teaches, so her classes can easily be directed to the stuff that's important to you...just ask.

The teacher is always well-prepared and explains everything clearly. What I appreciate most is her patience and the way she motivates me to speak, she creates a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where I’m not afraid to make mistakes. We do a lot of conversation practice, and her corrections are very helpful and encouraging. I highly recommend her .
