Hi guys, I'm Ben and I'm from Edinburgh in Scotland. I am currently employed as a professor of ESP and Spanish at a university in Vilnius, Lithuania and also work as a freelance copywriter / translator in English and Spanish. Outside of teaching I like to spend my free time doing art, exercise, martial arts and hiking, learning languages and most of all travelling to new places. I love meeting new people from different places and sharing interesting experiences. I spent several years living in South America where I taught English and coached martial arts, whilst learning Spanish. I am currently learning French as well and hope to reach a b1 level within a few months.Minha atuação como professor
I am a passionate qualified and experienced English teacher with several teaching certificates including a CELTA, DELTA and a TEFL certificate. I currently teach modules in Business English and Spanish for tourism, among other subjects at a university. I have taught students from a huge variety of professional backgrounds (journalists, bankers, teachers, businessmen, farmers, etc) and people of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced, children to adults. I tailor my lessons to suit the needs of individual students, taking a fun and creative approach to learning whilst utilising an effective structure in teaching grammar and skills. I can create classes for general English, English for specific purposes and to prepare students for exams, having taught IELTS, Cambridge, various university entrance exams among others.
