I am a polyglot and a language coach from Prague, Czech Republic. I’m addicted to learning European languages. The core of my language learning method is story-based learning. Other than languages and stories, I’m also interested in humanities, neuroscience, and meditation, but even in contemporary physics and exponential technology. I often discover the world together with my loved ones, my husband and two young kids.
I have a lot of experience both with traditional and innovative language education. I taught for one of Prague's best language schools and at a high school. I co-wrote a textbook for high schools and I was the learning designer of a language app for small devices and other e-learning projects. I've taught many different people from toddlers to seniors, in-company and public courses. Lately, I've been developing techniques that enable me to help people in a much more effective way than when I was a mainstream teacher. I'm happy to see the progress of my clients with these alternative ways of learning. That's why I prefer to refer to myself as a language coach rather than a language teacher.
I'm here to help you get closer to your language goals and dreams. My sessions are always tailor-made to you and your needs. During the first session, I ask you questions to understand your language situation in-depth and together we design your personal training program for the language skills and habits you want to develop. Tried the first lesson. We only had 30 minutes, but in that time Iva proved herself to be a very responsible, experienced and incredible coach. 🙂
This is the first time I've seen such an organised and cool approach to a student as Iva has.
I think that if you want to have an interesting and effective time while learning English, you should study with Iva. 😉
